Just as the yolk must be broken for the chick to emerge, so New York must be broken in repentance and humility so that revival life can break out of you into the entire nation. The yolk does not exist for itself — it exists to nourish and release what is inside it.

In the name of Jesus, according to Jeremiah 1:10, we uproot, tear down, destroy, and overthrow every evil contamination, every demonic parasite, every foreign spirit (Mammon, Baal, Molech, Libertas/Diana, witchcraft, humanism) that has defiled the Yolk of New York! We bind the strongman over this yolk. We apply the blood of the Lamb that purifies and sanctifies. Every ungodly covenant is nullified. The yolk is cleansed, renewed, and consecrated unto the Lord.

The powerhouse of economic, political, and cultural influence — often regarded as the seat of the empire (dominion, realm, kingdom) within the USA. Cornerstone of the USA. Global influence. Central hub for global finances (Wall Street), diplomacy (UN HQ) — Revelation 13:16–17 and 18.
Wall Street, United Nations headquarters, and Ellis Island symbolize America's economic and immigrant gateway. Historical revivals swept through; today financial idolatry, family breakdown, and globalist agendas dominate. We confront evil worship systems in every family and ethnic line across New York. Revive racial and family altars. Deliver every people group from generational curses so New York enters Jubilee as a redeemed gateway for the nations.
Denounce the current financial idolatry (Baal and Mammon), moral confusion in media/culture, and urban strongholds. Confront Babylon systems and spirit of division. Reclaim New York as financial and cultural gatekeeper for Kingdom advancement.

"When God is not permitted to govern a state or country, the devil takes control." Who is in charge of New York, and which kingdom reigns over it? God is working. The devil is working — what then is the Church in New York doing? (John 5:17; 15:16)

How can the Church use what New York is to advance the Kingdom of God?
How can we pray for New York? Not so much focus on the problems, because they will never get away completely. Focus on the purposes of God or the destiny of New York (Matthew 25:31–32). Prayer is getting into the heart of God (Acts 13:22). It is about His will (1 John 5:14–15). Since prayer is worship, the greatest worship is serving the purpose of your creation. Prayer is warfare and the purpose of war is to occupy the territory.
What Is the Role of the Church in New York?
The role of a priest is to stand before God for themselves, then for the people, then stand before people for God — all at the altar. We are kings and priests. We cannot rule in the space; we must have territories and nations. How do we rule nations? By discipling them. How do we disciple nations? By taking over or influencing the spheres of life (Revelation 5:12) — not by prayer or evangelism alone.
How did the Apostles preach the Gospel — how are we preaching? Study the book of Acts. One of the major things that happens after revival is salvation of souls — this is what fulfils 1 Timothy 2:3. We just want shortcuts, easy and convenient ways, because revival has its own cost and it is very high. People say revival is already here because of too much singing, when our cities and nations — including the Church — are rotting (abortion, same-sex marriages, corruption, drugs, abominations on the increase), and in church, Christians are focusing on how to survive. Revival does not come until there are a few people who commit to break or weaken the grip of darkness over our people's lives and communities — then the Spirit is poured out.
Today there is too much evangelism and prayer with little impact. Why do people in New York behave and do what they are doing — drugs, abortions, same-sex marriage and the like? (Ephesians 2:1–3) They are bound and blinded (2 Corinthians 4:3–5). We must first bind the strongman (Matthew 12:29). It was not until Moses had defeated the evil worship system of Egypt that Israel was freed into destiny. People behave according to the gods they serve — to change them, change their gods. To change their laws, change the priesthood (Hebrews 7:12).
Who is an American? Why do we still celebrate and remember our Independence today? Why do we honor our forefathers? If we fail to do what they did that made this nation great — a shining dream for nations around the world — what will become of us? What will this generation be remembered for? We are building upon the foundation they laid — tested by fire (1 Corinthians 3:10–15). True Americans before God are those who walk according to the spiritual DNA — the biblical principles of liberty, justice, moral order, and covenant with the Creator — upon which this nation was founded. Not mere bloodline or birthplace, but alignment with that foundation.
New York — "Excelsior" (Ever Upward)
New York, the Empire State — named after the Duke of York in 1664 when the English seized it from the Dutch — it joined the Union as the 11th state in 1788. Its motto, "Excelsior" (Ever Upward), and symbols of Liberty and Justice on its flag speak to its calling. Prophetically, it represents leadership and global influence in commerce, government, and culture.
New York played a pivotal role in the Revolutionary War. Nearly one-third of all Revolutionary War battles occurred here, including the Battle of Long Island (Brooklyn) in 1776 — the war's largest engagement — and critical fights for control of the Hudson River and New York City. George Washington recognized its strategic importance: whoever held New York controlled much of America's fate.
Today, New York remains a global metropolis: financial capital via Wall Street, diplomatic hub with the United Nations, and cultural powerhouse through Broadway, museums, fashion, and media. It boasts unmatched diversity — about 37% foreign-born residents. Immigrants from China, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, India, and beyond enrich its tapestry, yet many communities face deep bondages: generational poverty, family breakdown, substance abuse, and spiritual strongholds tied to idolatry, secularism, or cultural syncretism.
Anti-Bible laws and cultural influences include mandates for insurance coverage of abortions, shield laws protecting reproductive and gender-affirming care, and secular education that marginalises biblical teachings. Museums and landmarks showcase ancient gods and idols — from Maya divinity exhibits at the Met to classical Greek and Roman figures adorning Beaux-Arts buildings.
Revivals Born in New York — The Burned-Over Fire
In the early 19th century, the Burned-Over District in western and central New York became a furnace of the Second Great Awakening. Intense revivals swept the region so thoroughly that Charles Finney called it "burned over" — few unconverted souls remained. This fervor birthed social reforms, new movements, and deep spiritual hunger amid Erie Canal-era growth.
Jeremiah Lanphier, a burdened lay businessman and former Finney convert, posted a simple notice for a noon prayer meeting at the North Dutch Church on Fulton Street. Six men showed up on September 23, 1857. Within weeks, thousands of businessmen filled daily prayer gatherings across Manhattan. By spring 1858, 10,000 prayed daily in New York alone, with estimates of 50,000+ conversions in the city and a nationwide awakening adding hundreds of thousands. It was lay-led, prayer-centered, and transformed society without a superstar preacher — ordinary men crying out at lunch hour amid economic panic.
Igniting the Fire Again — Reopening Portals Like Isaac (Genesis 26)
- Persistent, united prayer — Rebuild a "prayer web" across New York: noon gatherings in businesses and churches, 24/7 houses of prayer, and intercessory networks targeting strongholds.
- Holiness and repentance — Address the "gods" people serve (2 Corinthians 4:3–5). Idolatry — materialism, secular humanism, syncretism seen in museums and cultural icons — shapes behaviour. Preaching must confront these with power, not mere words.
- Strategic presence — Like Daniel and Joseph in Babylonian and Egyptian systems, believers must interpret God's dreams for the city (Daniel 2; Genesis 41). They rose through wisdom, integrity, and solutions, influencing policy and declaring the true God.
- John Knox model — bold preaching, prayer, and confrontation of ungodly rule led to national reformation. Lord, give us New York or we die!
Changing Laws by Changing the Priesthood (Hebrews 7:12)
True change comes as Hebrews 7:12 states: when the priesthood changes, the law changes. Raise up priests — intercessors, prophets, reformers — who carry God's presence. Destroy false gods at the altar. People behave like the gods they serve; replace them with the living God, and society shifts.
Joseph, Daniels, and the Apostles lived in worse days — the beast systems of Egypt, Babylon, and Rome, where kings were gods. How did they evangelise the beast systems? They brought the entire world to worship God (Daniel 3:29). Joseph introduced a financial system that is still being used today (Gen 47:13–26). They did not only preach to people — they changed the evil systems, and the godly systems changed the people. Which system does the Church have to change New York?
Zoom meetings should be for laying strategies and not the end of the strategy. Prayer meetings and Christian events do not change nations — revival is not a miracle, it is a strategy. How many big businesses, buildings, and corporations in New York are owned by born-again, Spirit-filled Christians? Why are Muslims, witches, and Catholics owning them, when the fullness of the earth belongs to our Father?
Our Target — Capturing the Jubilee Gate
Our target remains the destiny of the nation of New York, America, all its different people groups, every state, and the strategic capturing and possessing of the Jubilee Gate — maintaining the fruits of this season up to 2076. That is why we are dedicating the next 50 years to God's divine purpose for this land.
Every day we focus on one state — its unique destiny, its people groups, and its assignment — while dedicating one year of the coming 50 years to that state. We will be doing this every year. In this way, we are intentionally preparing to capture and possess the gate of independence and Jubilee in this season, culminating on July 4th.
July 3rd is our National Passover (Exodus 12:1–12). On this night, just as Moses and the children of Israel prepared to move out of Egypt, we are moving out of America's spiritual bondages. On July 3rd, Yahweh Elohim will pass through the United States and execute judgment against all the gods of America (Exodus 12:12) — remember, we are doing this every year at the same time. God will never come where He is not invited or properly prepared for. Let us use these 50 days to prepare our lives, our families, our churches, every people group, every state, and the entire nation for Passover and Jubilee.
Although the Year of Jubilee brings an automatic release into spiritual freedom — "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6) — its full manifestation requires our obedience, preparation, and availability to receive it. We are decreeing and establishing May 17th every year as the National Day of Dedication for this campaign, along with the entire 50-day season from May 13th to July 4th.
"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
Prayer for the State of New York
Praise the name of the living God! Today we lift up the State of New York in this 50 Days · 50 States prayer campaign. America is a nation of nations — a spiritual womb of nations. Within her borders are represented every ethnicity, tribe, and people group on earth. To impact America is to impact the world, because God has sovereignly positioned this nation as a superpower in this generation to influence other nations, just as He used Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Rome, and Britain in past seasons.
New York stands as a strategic gatekeeper state. It hosts the headquarters of the United Nations, Wall Street, and the Statue of Liberty. These features reveal New York's redemptive calling: to disciple nations on the mountains of government, economy, and liberty according to biblical principles.
Prayer Over Every People Group
We pray for all people groups in New York — Native Americans, African Americans, European Americans, Hispanic/Latino communities, Asian Americans, Jewish people, and every immigrant and resident. Let every tribe, tongue, and people enter their Jubilee. Raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap for New York (Ezekiel 22:30). Do not let this state miss her divine visitation in this season of automatic release and Jubilee (Luke 19:44).

New York's Evil Worship System — False Gods, Altars, and Priests
Everything we do, we are either serving God or the devil. New York hosts ancient and modern idols. These spheres are supposed to be headed or influenced by the Church — the top figures below are priests on top of that mountain and their gods are the ones ruling.
The Statue of Liberty ("Liberty Enlightening the World") — with what? For what? For who? — an 1886 gift from France sculpted by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. It represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, often linked to pagan figures. Some connect its form to the Roman Diana/Artemis — goddess of the hunt, fertility, and protection, with temple ties in Ephesus (Acts 19). Spiritually, it stands as a towering altar to humanistic liberty detached from the biblical God. Its torch, tablet, and crown evoke pagan symbolism of illumination and dominion.
Mammon — wealth and materialism, dominant on Wall Street. Baal — power, fertility, and cultural influence. Molech — child sacrifice, embodied in abortion. Timothy Keller, longtime Manhattan pastor, powerfully exposed how New York's cultural idols — success, money, autonomy — function as counterfeit gods that demand ultimate allegiance, shaping lives and policies (Ezekiel 14:4–6).
Jeremiah 11:13 laments, "For as many as your cities are your gods, O Judah" — a fitting word for a city with countless streets, landmarks, and influences serving competing deities. That is New York.
Evil sacrifices include abortion — New York's expansive laws make it a national leader, with high annual numbers functioning as modern child sacrifice to convenience, career, and autonomy (Molech-like). Crime, sexual immorality, drug use, and family breakdown serve as ongoing sacrifices to the evil altars. Altars appear in museums displaying ancient gods (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Mayan) and cultural landmarks. These are the gatekeepers of what makes up New York — you cannot enter the spiritual realm of New York until they have opened you up (Psalm 24:7).
New York's Current Leadership — The Priestly Question
New York City's first Muslim mayor (sworn in January 2026) — Shia Twelver, took oath on the Quran. Reveals the dominant altar of pluralism and foreign spiritual influence over the city.
Social justice Catholic — reveals the altar of progressive humanism blending with institutional religion.

What does a Muslim mayor alongside a Catholic governor and senator mean to the Church? The dominant altars have shifted. The people voted for their gods. The five key spirits operating in New York are:

Festivals — When New York's Spiritual Portals Open
Festivals reveal the pulse: June often bursts with events, highlighted by NYC Pride (one of the world's largest, celebrating LGBTQ+ identity, tied to Stonewall 1969). Other major ones include St. Patrick's Day Parade (March), Feast of San Gennaro (September), and Harlem Week. These days are when the spiritual womb of New York opens. If the Church is to pray effectively or strategically, this is the time (Exodus 7:15). Every state or nation — like individuals and families — has their time of spiritual conception. If you want to change anything physical, you target that time, as it is with a woman to get pregnant.
Prophetic Shadows — New York and Babylon
Many prophecies link New York (or America via it) to Babylon in Revelation 18. Bad things that started in New York spread to the nations. In the vision we received, the nations of the world were bound and locked up here in New York. The symbols of power — Wall Street, the UN, the Statue of Liberty, Broadway — function as the gates of a modern Babylon: wealth, culture, diplomacy, and entertainment flowing outward to shape the entire world. This is not New York's final destiny — but it is the current reality until the Church arises and the Yolk is purified.
Spiritual Warfare Prayer
In the name of Jesus, according to Jeremiah 1:10, we uproot, tear down, destroy, and overthrow every evil altar, demonic stronghold, false worship system, and veil of bondage over New York, the nation, and all people groups (Isaiah 25:7–8). We come against every evil worship system of this state and America. We dethrone the gods of New York and call for God's judgment upon them (Exodus 12:12). We dismantle all evil altars (Deuteronomy 7:1–5). We confuse, overthrow, and spiritually slaughter the evil priesthood operating in this state (1 Kings 18:40).
By the blood of the Lamb, we destroy every evil sacrifice — including any ungodly altars represented by the Statue of Liberty and other high places — and declare every ungodly covenant null and void (Hebrews 7:12; Colossians 2:14–15; Matthew 12:29). We bind the strongman over this region and cast out every spirit of religion, financial manipulation, division, immorality, abortion, and bondage. Jesus has given the Church power and authority over all the power of the enemy (Mark 16:17–18). Every chain is broken. The gates of New York now open to the King of Glory (Psalm 24)!

The seventh month every year, from May 13 to July 4th, we as Americans come into Your presence to capture and possess our gate of deliverance and freedom (Deuteronomy 16:16). Let us launch a spiritual Revolutionary War against all abominations committed in this state.
We give You thanks, O God, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 50:23; 136:1). Thank You for hearing our prayers, for the authority in the name of Jesus, and for the victory already won at the Cross. We praise You that Jubilee is manifesting and that this land shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
