Equality State, vast open ranges, Yellowstone wonders, and cowboy independence. Energy resources and sparse population. Wyoming is a rallying cry for the fight for liberty and symbolizing sacrifice against oppression. State scripture 12:1, Today economic shifts and preservation of freedom.
Wyoming (the state) itself was not yet settled during the Revolution, but the name derives from Pennsylvania's Wyoming Valley, site of the 1778 Battle of Wyoming (Wyoming Massacre). There, Patriot forces suffered a devastating defeat against British-allied Iroquois and Loyalists, with heavy casualties. The event galvanized colonial resolve, becoming a rallying cry for the fight for liberty and symbolizing sacrifice against oppression. In the Second Revolutionary War, a spiritual battle for freedom from modern captivities, Wyoming is called to a parallel role: standing firm amid challenges, modeling resilience, resourcefulness, and defense of covenant values, much like its namesake valley's costly stand for freedom.
We consecrate Wyoming's residents: repent of isolation and independence without God. Break wilderness complacency. Raise Wyoming as a Northern watchman state of liberty, stewardship, and bold frontier faith for the next 50 years.
Our target remains the destiny of the nation of America, all its different people groups, every state, and the strategic capturing and possessing of the Jubilee Gate. We are dedicating the next 50 years to God's divine purpose for this land.
Establishing and Cultivating Godly Worship Systems
Week 7 (June 25–July 1): Establishing and Cultivating Godly Worship Systems in Individuals, Families, Churches, Communities, Counties, States, and the Nation (Jeremiah 1:10; Matthew 12:43-44).
This week centers on spiritual warfare for the entire nation, with daily intercession for one state. On this day, we lift Wyoming while dedicating the year 2070 within the coming half-century. The prior week emphasized alignment with 2030, and Week 5 addressed confronting evil worship structures through prophetic and apostolic intercession.
Every evil worship system features a false deity, altar, priests, sacrifices, and covenants. True freedom requires deliverance by dismantling what binds people (Matthew 12:29; 2 Corinthians 4:3-5). Just as Moses confronted Egypt's demonic system to release Israel into its calling, we must confront similar structures today across U.S. people groups, states, and the nation. After tearing down these evil systems, we build and plant the Abrahamic worship system — the covenant of faith, obedience, and blessing.

As we build these godly systems, may Wyoming and the nation experience renewed altars, restored families, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the Second Revolutionary War of spiritual liberty.
Week 7 (June 25–July 1) calls us to repair and root godly worship systems throughout personal lives, households, congregations, cities, counties, states, and the country (Jeremiah 1:10; Matthew 12:43-44). Mirroring the components of dark systems, the godly alternative includes the true God, holy altars, faithful priests, acceptable sacrifices, and enduring covenants. This week, we actively establish these in Wyoming and across America.
The "Raising the 12" initiative serves as a symbolic reference to Jesus' discipleship model. It cultivates a new priesthood of believers eager to be trained in the destiny and identity of Wyoming or what God is doing in this state (John 5:17, 19), who respond to the urgent call of the hour (Ezekiel 22:30), connect the remnant, embrace new wineskins, and pursue a Nazarite-like consecration — setting themselves apart for divine purposes.
Current Family Conditions in Wyoming Compared to America's Founding Era
Wyoming's families today reflect national challenges but retain elements of resilience rooted in its frontier heritage. The state reports elevated divorce rates, historically among the nation's highest (around 3.4 per 1,000 residents in recent data, alongside states like Oklahoma). Marriage rates have fluctuated, with Wyoming often showing high marriage and divorce activity compared to national averages.
In contrast, America's founding era emphasized strong, covenantal families grounded in biblical principles, mutual responsibility, and generational legacy. Early settlers prioritized stable households as the foundation of society, influenced by Puritan and Judeo-Christian ethics that viewed family as a primary unit for moral formation and societal stability. Divorce was rare and socially stigmatized; marriage reflected lifelong commitment mirroring Christ and the Church.
Today, families in Wyoming and the U.S. have shifted dramatically due to cultural, economic, and ideological pressures. Influences such as secular individualism, economic stresses in rural areas, and media portrayals have reshaped dynamics. Divorce, same-sex marriage, gender confusion, and abortion have profoundly impacted family structures. Nationally, divorce affects roughly one-third of ever-married adults, with ripple effects on children, including single-parent households and economic strain. In Wyoming, high divorce rates contribute to family fragmentation. Same-sex marriage became legal via court ruling in 2014, with hundreds of licenses issued thereafter; the 2020 census noted hundreds of same-sex couple households. Abortion data indicates ongoing occurrences (estimated dozens per month in recent years, though the state maintains restrictive policies post-Dobbs), contributing to fewer births and generational loss. Gender ideology adds confusion, challenging biblical views of male and female (Genesis 1:27).
When foundations crumble, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3), the righteous must arise in prayer, repentance, truth-proclamation, and rebuilding through discipleship and godly systems. In Wyoming and America, this means restoring families as altars of worship, teaching covenant marriage, protecting life, discipling generations in the fear of the Lord, and focusing on the destiny and identity should be prioritized.
Historical Revivals and Wyoming's Role
Early American revivals, particularly the First Great Awakening, profoundly shaped the spiritual and moral climate leading to the Revolutionary War. Preachers like Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield emphasized personal conversion, equality before God, and resistance to tyranny, fueling a spirit of liberty that underpinned independence.
Current Spiritual Atmosphere in Wyoming
Wyoming's spiritual climate mixes rugged independence, natural beauty, and growing secularism. The "nones" (religiously unaffiliated) comprise around 34%, up significantly in recent years, with Christians at about 62%, aligning with but declining alongside national trends. Anti-biblical policies appear in areas of social legislation, though the state leans conservative overall. Abortion persists at lower but notable levels; same-sex marriage is established. Secular humanism influences education, media, and public life, promoting self-reliance without God.
Witchcraft and High Places: Folklore includes tales of witches on Casper Mountain, with annual Midsummer's Eve traditions tied to Crimson Dawn legends involving mythical witches and spirits. High places may encompass natural landmarks, mountains, and sites of occult interest or Native spiritual practices.
Idols per Timothy Keller's Framework: Modern idols in Wyoming could include independence/self-reliance (rural ethos), materialism from energy/mining economies, nature worship/pantheism in outdoor culture, political conservatism as ultimate loyalty, or family/legacy apart from God.
Religions: Predominantly Christian (Protestant/evangelical strong), with growing nones; small percentages of other faiths and Native traditions.
Abortion and Same-Sex Marriage: Daily abortions are limited due to laws, but national spillover and estimates suggest ongoing impact. Hundreds of same-sex marriages recorded since legalization.
Sin Against the Church (Revelation 2-3 Analogy): Complacency, compromise with cultural independence over bold witness, failing to disciple amid rural isolation, losing first love and tolerating worldly influences.
Most Committed Sins and Strongholds: Biblical strongholds may include idolatry of land/freedom, division, sexual immorality, materialism, and unbelief. Lifestyle influences: rugged individualism, outdoor pursuits, energy industry, and Western heritage potentially fostering self-sufficiency that sidelines dependence on God.
Leadership, People Groups, and Influential Forces
Wyoming's leaders across sectors often lean conservative, reflecting Republican dominance, though national liberal currents affect culture. Influential figures include Governor Mark Gordon and local leaders shaping policy toward energy, land, and traditional values. Historical founding influences parallel today's influencers directing toward preservation or progressivism.
Festivals like Old West Days (May/June, Jackson Hole) or music events (e.g., Rendezvous, Targhee Fest) celebrate heritage; summer events may align with "portals" of accessibility. The church should claim such seasons for prayer altars.
The Veil and Prayer Web
In the 50 Days • 50 States • 50 Years, we intercede for Wyoming to realign with God's redemptive destiny. We envision a statewide prayer web linking all counties to dismantle veils of blindness, division, and spiritual dullness over people groups, youth, and the state. Revival flows when the veil tears (2 Corinthians 3:16-18), restoring sight and unity.
Prayer for Wyoming: The Big Plains and the Shepherd Anointing
Today we lift up the state of Wyoming before the throne of grace. The name "Wyoming" originates from the Lenape (Delaware) Munsee word xwé:wamənk or mecheweami-ing, meaning "at the big river flat," "on the great plain," or "large plains." This speaks of vast, open spaces, expansive meadows and sweeping landscapes where rivers meet the plains. God has placed this state as a place of breadth, visibility, and room for movement under heaven.
Wyoming is the least populous state in America, with a 2025 population of approximately 588,753 people spread across its enormous territory, the tenth largest by area. It features majestic mountains, wide-open plains, and untamed wilderness. This physical reality carries deep prophetic significance: Wyoming is a shepherd state, called to tend flocks across vast territories with diligence, courage, and watchful care.
The state's identity is profoundly shaped by its cowboy and ranching heritage. From the late 1800s onward, Wyoming became central to American ranching culture, with cattle drives, open-range grazing, rodeos like Cheyenne Frontier Days, and dude ranches that preserve the spirit of the West. Cowboys spent long hours tending animals, watering, feeding, guarding, and sacrificing for the flock. This mirrors the heart of the Good Shepherd.
Biblically, shepherds are entrusted with feeding, protecting, and guiding. Jesus asked Peter three times, "Do you love Me?" and commanded, "Feed My lambs… Take care of My sheep… Feed My sheep" (John 21:15-17). The faithful shepherd leads willingly, not under compulsion (1 Peter 5:2-4). When Jesus saw the crowds, "He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd" (Matthew 9:36; Mark 6:34). David risked his life against lions and bears to protect his father's sheep (1 Samuel 17:34-36). John 21:15-17 · 1 Peter 5:2-4 · Matthew 9:36
At this critical hour, America resembles a flock that is scattered, confused, and vulnerable. Wyoming, rise up in your shepherd anointing! The church in Wyoming is called not only to tend its own but to release pastoral care, protection, and feeding of the Word across the nation.
As you steward vast ranches and care for livestock with such devotion, so you are anointed to shepherd souls, guard biblical truth, and lead America back to the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
Riches, Resources, and the Snare of Mammon
Wyoming is also known for its natural resources like coal, energy, agriculture and for Teton County (Jackson Hole area), which consistently ranks as one of the wealthiest places in America, with an extraordinarily high concentration of billionaires and millionaires per capita. Luxury homes, celebrities, and business tycoons are drawn to its beauty. While wealth is a blessing from God, Scripture warns that it can become a snare: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24). The rich young ruler walked away sorrowful when challenged to sell all and follow Jesus (Matthew 19:16-22). True riches are found in stewardship for the Kingdom, not trust in possessions.
The culture of rugged independence, self-reliance, and wide-open freedom must be surrendered to Christ so that Wyoming becomes a beacon of liberty in the Spirit — free indeed (John 8:36).
Alcohol, Bondage, and the Call to Spirit-Filling
Current realities call for urgent intercession. Wyoming maintains relatively low numbers of abortions (around 573–625 reported annually in recent years), reflecting a measure of moral restraint compared to many states. Same-sex marriage statistics remain modest. However, alcohol abuse stands out as a significant challenge: Wyoming has ranked among the highest in the nation for alcohol-related deaths and excessive consumption. In the Spirit, this points to a deeper issue — anything that controls a person other than the Holy Spirit. Scripture commands, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). Nazarites set apart for God abstained from wine (Numbers 6). Where alcohol or any addiction seeks to dominate, the church must declare freedom and Holy Spirit filling.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) is one of the largest denominations in Wyoming (around 11% self-identification or higher membership influence in some areas), alongside Evangelicals, Mainline Protestants, and Catholics. While many seek God sincerely, any system that adds to or elevates human revelation above the finished work of Christ and the sufficiency of Scripture must yield to the pure gospel. We pray for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit that exalts Jesus alone.
We pray for all people groups in Wyoming: Native American tribes whose ancestral presence speaks of the land's first stewardship; descendants of settlers, ranchers, and cowboys who built the state's rugged character; Hispanic, African American, Asian, and all immigrant communities; the wealthy and working-class alike; those in energy, agriculture, tourism, and government. May every tribe and tongue encounter the living God and fulfill their redemptive role in Wyoming's destiny.
Wyoming, enter into your Jubilee! This is your season of automatic release and restoration (Leviticus 25). Return to your God-ordained inheritance and destiny. Break free from every spiritual bondage — addiction, misplaced trust in wealth, religious strongholds, or anything that hinders your shepherd calling. Launch a spiritual Revolutionary War against every dark force, just as America's forefathers fought the Revolutionary War to break colonial bondage. Arise in the power of the Spirit!
We repent for any failure to steward the land and its gifts according to God's heart. We reset and rebuild on the foundations of Scripture and the Puritan pursuit of a godly society.
In the mighty name of Jesus, according to Jeremiah 1:10, we uproot, break down, throw down, and destroy every evil work in Wyoming and across America. We come against every evil worship system, the veil covering Wyoming, the nation, and all people groups (Isaiah 25:7-8). We dethrone the gods of this state and call for God's judgment upon them (Exodus 12:12). We dismantle all evil altars (Deuteronomy 7:1-5), confuse and spiritually overthrow every evil priesthood (1 Kings 18:40), destroy all unholy sacrifices by the blood of the Lamb, and declare every evil covenant null and void through the superior covenant in Christ (Hebrews 7:12).
Now we plant and build a godly worship system in Wyoming. We prophesy: Wyoming, arise as a true shepherd state! Let the vast plains echo with the pure Word of God. Let your ranches and open lands become symbols of spiritual pasture where souls are fed, protected, and led to green pastures and still waters. Break the chains of alcohol and every controlling spirit — be filled with the Holy Spirit instead! Let wealth be stewarded for Kingdom advance, not idolatry. Let the church rise with compassion for the harassed and helpless. Let a holy fire ignite cowboy-hearted believers who will guard the flock of this nation with courage and sacrificial love.
Wyoming, you will not miss your visitation in this season of Jubilee! Someone will stand in the gap and pray. Return fully to your inheritance and destiny. America needs your shepherd gifting now.
✦ Prayer of Thanksgiving (Psalm 50:23) ✦
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the state of Wyoming — its majestic plains, rugged beauty, and shepherd heart. Thank You for its people, resources, and unique assignment in this nation. Thank You for hearing our cries, for the release of Jubilee freedom, and for the spiritual revolution now unfolding. We honor You as the Author of this land and its destiny. May Wyoming fulfill her role in Your purposes for America, to the glory of Your name!
We wait upon the Lord for any further instructions or words from the Holy Spirit.
We repent. We reset. We rebuild on the foundations of the Puritans.
The spiritual Revolutionary War has begun! Let us launch it fully against all abominations in Wyoming and across this land — for righteousness, revival, and the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Amen. Hallelujah.
