Breaking Altars, Tearing the Veil

Root/Etymology of "Idaho" (for the 50 Days • 50 States • 50 Years Campaign)

The name "Idaho" is an invented word from the early 1860s, proposed by mining lobbyist George M. Willing to Congress. He claimed it was a Shoshone phrase meaning "Gem of the Mountains" ("Ee-dah-how", sun coming down from the mountains or similar poetic renderings). Though Congress later discovered it was fabricated and reassigned the original territory as Colorado, the name endured, leading to the Idaho Territory in 1863 and statehood as the 43rd state in 1890.

Despite its human origins, the prevailing meaning of Gem of the Mountains has defined Idaho as the official Gem State, reflecting its rich minerals (Star Garnet), rugged beauty, and pioneering spirit.

Prophetic and Spiritual Meaning: In this Jubilee season of national repentance and spiritual revolutionary war, God redeems even fabricated names for Kingdom purpose. Idaho is called as a Treasure State (Isaiah 45:2-3) to unlock hidden treasures, natural resources, spiritual revelation, and Kingdom wealth stored in the mountains until now. As gems are refined to radiate with star-like glory (Star Garnet), so the Church in Idaho must undergo purifying trials (echoing Lewis & Clark's pioneering journey) to shine with purity, joy, and worship for the nation. Anchored in the motto Esto Perpetua ("Let it be Perpetual"), Idaho is positioned to sustain enduring revival, provision, and missionary sending crossing barriers into promise and releasing glory from the mountains for America's restoration. Isaiah 45:2-3

We decree: "Idaho, Gem of the Mountains! Though crafted by human hands, God has inscribed upon you divine purpose: Reveal the treasures of darkness! Let every hidden gem of anointing, revelation, purity, and provision shine for the healing of this nation. Esto Perpetua — may the glory of the Lord be perpetual in you, from your peaks to the valleys, as part of the Second American Revolutionary War and 2026 Jubilee!"

This week of the campaign centers on spiritual warfare, prophetic and apostolic intercession, and the dismantling of evil worship systems across America and her states. Every such system follows the same ancient pattern: a false god or ideology, an evil altar where covenants are ratified and sacrifices offered, priests who serve and perpetuate it, and binding agreements that hold people captive. Captives are not truly free until the strongman is bound, the altar overturned, and the covenant broken (Matthew 12:29; 2 Corinthians 4:3-5). Moses understood this. Before Israel could walk into her destiny, he had to confront the gods, altars, priests, and covenants of Egypt. The same confrontation is required today for the United States and for Idaho.

⬡ RAISING THE 12

The Raising the 12 project is not merely a program; it is the Master's strategy for this hour. It calls for a new priesthood of disciples who will do only what they see the Father doing (John 5:17, 19), who will stand in the gap where He finds no one (Ezekiel 22:30), who will embrace new wineskins for the new wine, and who will walk the separated, consecrated path of the Nazarite. These are the remnants being networked across counties, states, and nations for the coming outpouring.

Family Foundations: Current Reality, Historical Contrast, and the Righteous Response

Idaho's families remain more intact than the national average, yet they are not untouched. Recent data show Idaho maintains one of the lower refined divorce rates in the nation (approximately 11.2 per 1,000 married women). Single-parent households and cohabitation exist but at lower percentages than many states. The state's conservative culture, rural character, and stronger church presence have provided a measure of preservation.

Contrast this with the founding era of the American republic. Families were larger, multi-generational, biblically ordered, and viewed as the foundational unit of society and church. Divorce was rare, stigmatized, and granted only on narrow scriptural grounds. Same-sex marriage was unthinkable. Gender was binary and God-given. Abortion was largely illegal and morally condemned. The home was a primary place of discipleship, prayer, and transmission of covenant values.

What is discipling Idaho families today? In many communities, faithful churches and parents still labor. Yet a powerful counter-discipleship operates through public education, social media, entertainment, and peer culture that normalizes gender confusion, sexual autonomy, and the redefinition of marriage and family. The result across Idaho and America has been measurable: fatherlessness linked to increased behavioral struggles, mental health crises among youth, identity confusion, and a devaluing of life itself. Divorce has fractured generations. Same-sex marriage has redefined the institution. Gender ideology has invaded schools and medicine. Abortion though drastically reduced in Idaho itself remains a national altar whose blood cries out and whose ideology continues to shape hearts.

When the foundations are broken, what can the righteous do (Psalm 11:3)? They can repent. They can rebuild family altars. They can intentionally disciple their children and spiritual sons and daughters (Raising the 12). They can pray and fast for the tearing of every veil. They can speak truth in love, advocate for righteous laws, and model the beauty of covenant family life. They can bind the strongman over their households and over the state. Psalm 11:3

Historical Role and Prophetic Mandate

Idaho as a territory had no direct settlements during the Revolutionary War; the land was still wilderness claimed by competing powers and inhabited by Native nations. Yet the covenant principles released in the founding documents and the spiritual momentum of the Great Awakenings eventually reached these western lands. The Second Great Awakening's missionary fervor sent laborers into the Oregon Country (which included future Idaho), establishing early gospel witness among the Nez Perce and other tribes and among the mountain men and settlers who followed.

That same pioneering spirit is Idaho's assigned role in the second revolutionary war now underway the spiritual war against captivity, deception, and the beast systems of our day. Just as early believers helped push the physical frontier and plant the gospel, Idaho is called to push the spiritual frontier, to host revival fire, to send intercessors, and to model a state aligned with heaven's purposes in this 250th-anniversary Jubilee season.

People Groups, Idols, and the Current Spiritual Atmosphere

Idaho's approximately 2.03 million residents (2025) comprise these primary people groups (approximate percentages): Non-Hispanic White ~79–80%, Hispanic or Latino ~14%, American Indian/Alaska Native ~1.2%, Asian ~1.4%, Black or African American ~0.8–1%, Multiracial and other ~3%. Major Native nations include the Nez Perce, Shoshone-Bannock, Coeur d'Alene, and others.

79–80%Non-Hispanic White
~14%Hispanic or Latino
~1.2%American Indian / Alaska Native
~1.4%Asian
~0.8–1%Black or African American
~3%Multiracial and other

Major idols operating across these groups, understood through the lens of Timothy Keller's teaching on counterfeit gods, include:

Religious landscape (approximate, reflecting recent trends): Evangelical Protestants have grown to around 31%, Latter-day Saints ~14%, Catholics ~9%, other/mainline Protestants lower, with religiously unaffiliated ("nones") rising (likely 18–23%, below the national ~24–28% but increasing especially among youth). Secular humanism exerts influence through education, media, and urban centers despite the state's overall conservative and more religious character than coastal neighbors.

Abortion: Idaho's protective laws have reduced in-state abortions to among the nation's lowest often single-digit or low double-digit annual reported figures in recent years meaning effectively near zero daily abortions performed within state borders. This is a righteous restraint. Yet the national altar (~3,000+ babies daily across the U.S.) and any residents seeking services elsewhere still affect the land's conscience and require ongoing intercession and healing.

Same-sex marriage: Numbers remain modest relative to population. Early post-Obergefell data showed roughly 100+ performed annually in key counties such as Ada; total married same-sex couples in the state are in the low thousands at most. The state legislature has continued to signal resistance to the redefinition of marriage at the cultural and policy level.

Witchcraft and high places: Overt organized witchcraft and Wicca remain limited compared with more progressive regions, yet the spirit of witchcraft (control, manipulation, false prophecy, and occult influence) operates subtly through media, education, New Age wellness trends, and political or relational control. High places include the majestic mountain ranges (Sawtooths, Bitterroots, etc.) that can become sites of redemptive encounter or, conversely, places where occult or New Age practices occur. Modern high places of influence include the state capitol, universities (especially Boise State), and media/cultural centers in the Boise metro. The operating principality is the ancient spirit of control and seduction (Jezebel) working through systems and willing vessels.

Lifestyle and influences: Idahoans are known for hardy self-reliance, love of the outdoors, community loyalty in rural counties, and a generally conservative, patriotic ethos. Many still attend church and value faith. Yet lifestyles are increasingly shaped by national media, social platforms, and entertainment that promote secular values, gender ideology, and consumerism. The tech and professional growth in Boise introduces both economic blessing and progressive cultural pressure. Education systems, even in a conservative state, transmit national narratives that can undermine biblical foundations unless countered by intentional discipleship.

Leadership and direction: Idaho's leadership remains predominantly conservative and Republican. Governor Brad Little has provided steady, pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, and pro-economic growth direction. Founding figures (Washington, Adams, the signers) shaped the nation on biblical and natural-law principles that honored God as source of rights. Current influential figures, elected leaders, faithful pastors, business voices in agriculture and tech, and educators are largely steering Idaho toward preservation of traditional values and resistance to national progressive overreach, though urban pockets and national media create ongoing tension. The most influential single figure at present is Governor Brad Little.

Most influential festival and the "Altar's Month": June hosts several significant gatherings, including rodeos (such as the Eagle Rodeo and Snake River Stampede), music festivals (Boise Music Festival), and community celebrations. These events champion Western heritage, community, music, and rodeo culture. The broader summer festival season peaks near the summer solstice (June 20–21). In occult calendars this period is viewed as a time of heightened spiritual activity and "open portals." The "womb" language points to accessibility for issues of family, fertility, future generations, and the birthing of revival or, conversely, the enemy's attack on these realms. The church in Idaho must therefore recognize and claim June as the Altar's Month, a dedicated season for erecting prayer altars, tearing down high places, and interceding specifically for the womb of the state (families, children, creativity, and the next generation).

The Veil and the Prayer Web

The different people groups, the youth, and the state itself are covered by a veil. This is the same veil described in Scripture, the blinding work of the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4) manifested as secular humanism, denominational division, political polarization, media deception, fear of man, unrepented generational sin (especially regarding Native nations), and the quenching of prophetic fire. This veil produces spiritual deafness, division, and resistance to the move of the Spirit.

Revival does not come until the veil is torn. The strategy is clear: build a prayer web that connects every one of Idaho's 44 counties into a unified state prayer altar.

As intercessors in every county focus on the destiny of Idaho, repent, worship, and declare the Word, the veil rends. Ancient gates and doors are commanded to lift (Psalm 24:7). The King of Glory enters. Strongholds of Jezebel, Baal/Molech, secular humanism, and every beast system (globalist structures, digital control agendas, 15-minute cities) are dismantled by the blood of Jesus and the sword of the Word (Colossians 2:15; Jeremiah 1:10; Isaiah 60:1-2).

In this 50 Days, 50 States, 50 Years campaign we contend for your full realignment to the purposes of God, for family restoration, for the raising of a consecrated priesthood, for the tearing of every veil, and for Idaho to take her place as a pioneer state in the spiritual revolutionary war that will see America return to her covenant roots and fulfill her destiny in this Jubilee season.

Key Redemptive Themes for Idaho

✦ Prophetic Prayer and Declaration for Idaho ✦

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ:

We stand before Your throne on this day of June 21 for Idaho, the Gem State. As the 43rd state admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, we declare that You are perfecting and completing Your purposes in her (Philippians 1:6). Unlock the hidden treasures—spiritual gems of revelation, anointing, and resources stored in the mountains and hearts of Your people.

Let Esto Perpetua become a living decree: May Your presence, revival, and blessings be perpetual in Idaho! Release a spirit of purity that shines like the Star Garnet, a joy that sings like the Mountain Bluebird, and pioneering faith like the explorers and settlers who crossed the Bitterroots.

Father, raise up intercessors and prayer altars across Idaho that connect with the national and global prayer movement (NAPACCA, AMERIPACCA). Break every chain holding back Your treasure. Let wrong alignments dissolve, and release a Cyrus anointing upon the Church to finance restoration, open doors, and subdue kingdoms for Your glory.

We decree revival fire sweeping through Boise, the panhandle, and every rural community. Let families be healed, youth raised as missionaries, and the Church walk in intimacy and power. From Idaho's wells, release supply of natural and spiritual wells for the nation in this Jubilee season. Turn the Gem State into a beacon of enduring light, contributing pure gold to America's redesigning in 2026 and beyond.

Idaho, arise! Your treasures are for such a time as this. The Lord is polishing you to reflect His glory across the mountains and to the nations. Esto Perpetua — let the Kingdom of God be eternal in you!

Amen.
