Alabama — the Heart of Dixie, whose very name from the Alibamu people means "vegetation gatherers" and "thicket clearers" — stands before God today with a prophetic mandate more urgent than its civil rights heritage, its space programme, or its football culture. On Day 31 of the 50 Days, 50 States, 50 Years campaign, we continue Week 5's focus on 2030 as a prophetic gate, and we lift up a state uniquely called to clear demonic thickets, gather the harvest of nations, and arise as a prayer furnace and justice reformer for the next 50 years. The spiritual Revolutionary War launches from Alabama's soil today.
The 50 Days, Passover, and the Jubilee Gate
"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37–38 · Alabama's State Scripture
We are dedicating the next 50 years to God's divine purpose for the USA. Every day we focus on one state, its unique destiny, its people groups, and its assignment — while dedicating one of the coming 50 years to that state. In this way, we are intentionally preparing to capture and possess the gate of independence and Jubilee, culminating on July 4th.
July 3rd is our National Passover (Exodus 12:1–12). Just as Moses and the children of Israel prepared to move out of Egypt, we are moving out of America's spiritual bondages — beginning again the sacred journey of destiny first pioneered by the Puritans and the Founding Fathers for the next 50 years. On July 3rd, Yahweh Elohim will pass through the United States and execute judgment against all the gods of America (Exodus 12:12).
Although the Year of Jubilee brings an automatic release into spiritual freedom and the breaking of every spiritual bondage, its full manifestation requires obedience, preparation, and availability to receive it. "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). This is the very purpose of the 50 Days, 50 States, 50 Years campaign.
We will observe this season every year. We decree and establish May 17th as the National Day of Dedication for this campaign, along with the entire 50-day season from May 13th to July 4th. Be part of the new thing the Lord is doing in America. Remember: if you do not participate in what the Lord is doing, it will not stop Him from accomplishing His purposes, but you will lose your place and portion in what He is doing (Esther 4:14).
Realigning Alabama and America for 2030
We live in pivotal times when global systems are converging toward a one-world government, economy, and religion — fulfilling biblical prophecies of the man of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4). Global elites engineer crises, pandemics, economic upheavals, and technological dependencies to pave the way for the Antichrist's rule.
The New World Order blueprint for 2030 includes: one world government; cashless currency and a central bank; the end of national sovereignty and private property; mandatory vaccinations; microchipped populations under social credit systems; widespread 6G infrastructure; restrictions on travel and private farms; and government-controlled business. The mark will not appear overtly evil — it will be marketed as smart, safe, and convenient. Most people will fail to connect the dots. Yet amid this darkness, Alabama holds a redemptive calling to gather the harvest and shine with God's glory to the nations before deep darkness covers the earth (Isaiah 60:1–3).
"Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you." Isaiah 60:1–3
Raising the 12: Discipling a New Priesthood in Alabama
The "Raising the 12" initiative is a code for Jesus' discipleship model. It calls forth a new priesthood — laborers for the harvest — those willing to be formed into what God is doing and will do in Alabama and the USA. We pray for God to raise these priests (laborers for the harvest) across every sphere of influence in Alabama: religion, family, education, government, media, arts, and business.
The family is the foundation of the church and nation. A nation rises or falls by its families. Today's evils of abortion, divorce, LGBTQ agendas, radical women's emancipation, and unchecked children's rights all target the family unit. The righteous must rebuild through fervent prayer, discipleship, repentance, and reclaiming biblical family models — modeling covenant marriage, raising children in the fear of the Lord, and resisting cultural strongholds.
Alabama's Family Landscape: Then and Now
At America's founding, families were biblically grounded, stable, and central to society, reflecting covenantal values from Puritan and early settler roots. Today, Alabama's family fabric shows serious strain. While abortion numbers in-state are near-zero due to Alabama's strong post-Dobbs restrictions, Alabama residents continue to access services out of state or via telehealth, contributing to national totals that exceed one million annually. Gender confusion and related ideologies further fragment family structures.
What disciples families in Alabama today? Secular culture, media, schools, and shifting social norms often supplant biblical teaching. Families have transformed from multi-generational, faith-centred units to more fragmented, individualistic ones influenced by economic pressures, cultural liberalisation, and spiritual drift. "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3). The righteous must rebuild through prayer, discipleship, and the reclaiming of biblical family models.
Alabama's Unique Destiny: Vegetation Gatherer, Thicket Clearer
The name "Alabama" derives from the Alabama (Alibamu) people, a Muskogean-speaking tribe, possibly meaning "thicket clearers," "vegetation gatherers," or "clearers of the land" — from the Choctaw alba for vegetation/plants and amo for to gather or cut. This ties directly to a prophetic destiny of clearing spiritual thickets, gathering harvest, and cultivating God's purposes.
"Alabama, you are called to gather and conserve the harvest of the nations and clear spiritual thickets for the Kingdom of God. You shall no longer be entangled in spiritual thickets but shall arise as a state that gathers souls, resources, and redemptive purposes for the glory of God."
Scripturally, this echoes John 4:35–38 (fields white for harvest) and Isaiah 61 (repairers of breaches). Historically, Alabama played roles in Revolutionary War conflicts within the territory (battles in 1780–1781), with many veterans later settling there. In the Second Spiritual Revolutionary War, Alabama is called to the same pioneering, clearing, and gathering role — clearing demonic strongholds and gathering people into revival and Kingdom purposes.
Early revivals — part of the Second Great Awakening and later movements like the Bay Revival (2010 in Daphne) — influenced Alabama with outbreaks of the Spirit emphasising holiness and evangelism. Alabama's revival heritage is real. The embers are not dead. With unified intercession and deliberate discipleship, they can become a fire that transforms the state and reaches the nations.
Alabama's People Groups and Spiritual Atmosphere
We pray for all people groups, that each would walk in their God-given redemptive gifting:
- European Americans (~64.7%) — Walk fully in administrative excellence and systematic order; repent of idolatry of tradition, racial division, and comfort that has suppressed prophetic fire.
- African Americans (~25.6%) — Walk in their anointing for worship, music, intercession, creativity, and pioneering fire; repent of cycles of violence, lawlessness, and disorder rooted in historical wounds.
- Hispanic / Latino (~5.3%) — Release entrepreneurial spirit, family strength, and resilience for Kingdom advancement; resist syncretism and cultural idolatry.
- Asian Americans (~1.4–1.7%) — Release wisdom, diligence, and intercultural bridges; resist the idol of success that can crowd out Kingdom priorities.
- Native American (~0.4–0.8%) — Reclaim their original covenant with the land and reconcile with God; receive healing from generational displacement and spiritual wounds.
Current spiritual atmosphere: Alabama remains in the Bible Belt with strong Christian identification (around 73% professing Christians), but "nones" have risen to about 22–24% in Alabama — reflecting national secularisation. Anti-biblical laws persist: same-sex marriage is recognised nationally, secular humanism infiltrates education and media. Divorce, family breakdown, and cultural drift persist despite conservative political leanings. Witchcraft and Wiccan communities are noted in cities like Huntsville. The Vulcan statue in Birmingham — the world's largest cast iron statue, symbolising the Roman god of fire and forge — stands as a literal idol that has been unwittingly honoured through tourism and cultural pride. Per Tim Keller's framework, cultural idols include money, success, family (when idolised), power, and expressive individualism. The sin against the Church in Alabama mirrors Revelation 2–3: losing first love, compromise with worldly systems, and lukewarmness amid cultural pressure.
Lifestyles in Alabama reflect Southern hospitality mixed with modern influences — rural traditions, urban growth in hubs like Birmingham and Huntsville, shaped by media, sports culture (including the idolisation of football), politics, and economic factors spanning agriculture, industry, and tech. The Bridge Crossing Jubilee (March, commemorating Selma's civil rights march) and Mardi Gras in Mobile represent key spiritual portal moments where the Church should consecrate the seasons as altar months for prayer and consecration.
The Veil and Alabama's Statewide Prayer Web
In the 50 Days campaign, we seek Alabama's realignment to God's destiny. We build a prayer web linking all counties to tear down veils of blindness, division, and spiritual quenching over people groups, youth, and the state. The veil includes deception, secularism, historical wounds of racism, idolatry, and end-times distractions — blinding eyes and ears (2 Corinthians 3:14–16; 4:4). Revival comes when this veil tears through unified intercession.
As we pray this week for 2030, may Alabama arise as a vegetation gatherer and thicket clearer — harvesting souls, clearing paths for revival, and anchoring America in its covenant destiny. Let the new priesthood arise, families heal, and the state fulfil its prophetic role in the second spiritual revolutionary war. May the Church in Alabama and the nation humble itself, pray, seek God's face, and turn from wicked ways so He heals the land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Prophetic Declarations over Alabama
- Alabama — you shall gather the vegetation of nations into God's barn! Your cities shall be known for righteousness, not idolatry. You are the thicket clearer and harvest gatherer of the South.
- Every ethnic group shall walk in unity and redemptive purpose — African American and European American, Hispanic and Native, Asian and multiracial — one body in Christ fulfilling Alabama's Kingdom assignment (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).
- Abortion, sexual perversion, and secularism shall be reversed. The blood of the innocent cries no more; complete healing and eradication flow from the throne of God over Alabama.
- The Vulcan idol is dethroned. Every high place dedicated to Rome's gods, imported European paganism, and the forge of human pride collapses at the presence of the living God. Let pure worship arise from Birmingham's mountains instead.
- Alabama shall enter her Jubilee — full release, restoration of land, family, and destiny (Leviticus 25). The church shall roar with prophetic authority, and the gates of this state shall open to the King of Glory (Psalm 24).
- Alabama shall not miss her divine visitation in this season of automatic release and Jubilee. Revival fire falls on Birmingham and Montgomery, on Mobile and Huntsville, on every county and county seat, until the whole state blazes for God.
- As your forefathers cleared thickets to cultivate crops, so now the remnant Church clears demonic strongholds to cultivate revival. Alabama, your harvest is white. Arise and reap!
- The spiritual Revolutionary War has launched from Alabama's soil. We reset Alabama. We rebuild on the foundations of the Puritans. Alabama leads the nation in righteous justice, evangelistic fire, and prophetic worship for the next 50 years.
✦ Prayer for Alabama — Day 31 ✦
Father, we come before You today on this 32nd day of our 50 Days, 50 States, 50 Years campaign, lifting up the state of Alabama. We stand in the gap for her people, her land, and her divine destiny. Alabama, whose name derives from Native American roots meaning "vegetation gatherers" or "thicket clearers" — we declare that you are called to gather and conserve the harvest of the nations and clear spiritual thickets for the Kingdom of God. You shall no longer be entangled in spiritual thickets but shall arise as a state that gathers souls, resources, and redemptive purposes for the glory of God.
We consecrate Alabama's residents and the USA to You, O Lord. We thank You for what Alabama is and what it is supposed to do. We repent of idolatry of sports and past wounds. Break generational curses. Establish Alabama as a justice reformer and prayer furnace for the next 50 years.
We thank You, Lord, for the rich tapestry of people groups in Alabama — approximately 64.7% European Americans, 25.6% African Americans, 5.3% Hispanics/Latinos, and 4.4% other ethnic groups including Asians and others. Each carries redemptive gifts. We pray that European Americans walk fully in their administrative excellence and systematic order; that African Americans walk in their anointing for worship, music, intercession, creativity, and pioneering fire; that Hispanics and other groups release their entrepreneurial spirit, family strength, and resilience. Let every people group discover their strengths, repent of any shortcomings, and come together as one body in Christ so that Alabama fulfils her Kingdom assignment (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).
In the name of Jesus, according to Jeremiah 1:10, we uproot, tear down, destroy, and overthrow every evil altar, demonic system, and ungodly covenant in Alabama. We come specifically against the spirit represented by the Vulcan statue in Birmingham — we renounce all idolatry, fire-and-forge spirits, and imported pagan influences that have been unwittingly honoured. Let every high place dedicated to false gods tremble and fall (Isaiah 19:1). We spiritually displace every evil priesthood, destroy all evil sacrifices by the blood of the Lamb, and declare every ungodly covenant null and void (Hebrews 7:12).
We break the power of secular humanism, the rising "nones" (around 22% in Alabama), atheism, and agnosticism that erode faith. We bind the spirits behind abortion, sexual immorality, gender confusion, racial division, and every force holding this state captive. We repent for the shedding of innocent blood — and though abortion numbers have drastically dropped to near-zero under current laws, we decree complete eradication and healing for every wounded heart and soul. We rebuke the spirit of same-sex marriage and LGBTQ+ agendas that defy God's created order. We command every spiritual bondage — historical, generational, and contemporary — to break.
Now we plant and build a godly worship system in Alabama. Let pure worship arise from every people group — Baptist, Evangelical, Historically Black Protestant, and beyond — uniting 73% of professing Christians into a mighty force. Raise up intercessors who stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30). Let revival fire fall, especially in Birmingham and Montgomery. Restore Alabama as a beacon of righteousness, justice, and moral clarity. Just as the Founding Fathers and Puritans fought the Revolutionary War to break free from colonial tyranny, we launch a spiritual Revolutionary War in Alabama against every force of darkness. Alabama, return to your inheritance and original destiny! Break free from every spiritual Egypt and Babylon.
Father, we thank You for hearing and answering these prayers. We praise You for the destiny of Alabama and the United States. Thank You that as we obey, You will accomplish what You have spoken (Psalm 50:23). We wait upon You, Lord, for further instructions and revelation. We reset Alabama. We rebuild on the foundations of the Puritans. The spiritual Revolutionary War for America's deliverance has launched!
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. LET YOUR KINGDOM COME AND YOUR WILL BE DONE IN ALABAMA AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
