On Day 29 of the 50 Days, 50 States, 50 Years campaign, we lift up the Commonwealth of Virginia, declaring her prophetic destiny as the Holy of Holies, the place where the Ark of the Covenant — the presence of God — must dwell. The Dove of the Holy Spirit hovers. Virginia must not miss this hour.
Raising the 12: A Strategic Call to New Priesthood
In this fourth week of the campaign, the emphasis is Raise the 12 — forming teams of committed disciples in every sphere of society, every county, state, nation, and continent. Revival and reformation do not arrive as sudden miracles; they unfold through deliberate strategy. God moves where He is prepared for and welcomed, which is why prayer must pair with tangible actions that embody faith (Matthew 3:8).
The "Raising the 12" initiative serves as a contemporary code for Jesus' own model of discipleship. It summons a new priesthood — individuals willing to be trained in alignment with what God is doing now (John 5:17, 19), to stand in the gap for this pivotal hour (Ezekiel 22:30), to network the remnants, embrace new wineskins, and pursue a Nazarite consecration. A small, set-apart company can shift history.
Jesus transitioned the priesthood from the Levitical order to the Melchizedek order. He bypassed the formally trained Pharisees and Sadducees to begin anew with ordinary fishermen. Likewise, the coming revival and reformation across the USA will be led by the nameless and seemingly insignificant in human eyes (1 Corinthians 1:25–27). Hebrews 7:12 declares that a change in priesthood necessitates a change in law. Anti-biblical statutes in America cannot transform without this shift, for laws carry spiritual weight (Romans 7–8). Before Israel entered Canaan, Moses recruited from every tribe; Jesus chose twelve; Abraham mobilized 318; Moses worked with seventy. The harvest is plentiful — the prayer remains for laborers.
Beyond prayer, practical blueprints must emerge to disciple youth in schools and colleges and to mentor believers across every societal sphere in every state. The Lord calls for a harvest from Virginia and the raising of the twelve remnants, drawing from Joel 2:1–12 and Acts 26:13–20. The work extending after these 50 days will prove decisive.
Virginia's Family Landscape: Then and Now
At the nation's founding, Virginia exemplified strong, biblically rooted family structures that shaped early American society. Families served as the foundational unit for moral formation, economic productivity, and community stability, reflecting covenantal values from Scripture. Today, family stability has eroded significantly.
Same-sex marriage, legalized nationwide in 2015 and affirmed in Virginia through legislative actions, has grown to an estimated 15,000–27,000 same-sex couple households in the state. Gender confusion and related ideologies challenge traditional family definitions, while abortion has deeply scarred family lines. These factors — divorce, redefined marriage, identity shifts, and abortion — have fragmented families, increased fatherlessness, economic strain on single parents, and intergenerational trauma, deviating sharply from the stable, child-centered families of the founding era.
What can the righteous do when foundations crumble (Psalm 11:3)? They must rebuild through strategic discipleship, prayer altars in homes and communities, advocacy for biblical family policies, mentoring programs, and cultural engagement that restores God's design for marriage, parenting, and generational blessing.
Virginia's Unique Destiny and Prophetic Calling
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:18–19

Its name, bestowed by Sir Walter Raleigh in honor of Queen Elizabeth I, the "Virgin Queen," evokes purity, new beginnings, and consecrated fruitfulness, tying directly to a prophetic destiny as a spiritual birthplace and gatekeeper for the nation. Jamestown (1607) marked the first permanent English settlement, introducing representative governance and laying foundations for liberty.
Virginia is the Firstborn. As the 10th state to ratify the Constitution (June 25, 1788) and the site of the first permanent English settlement, everything American traces its roots to her soil. She carries the birthright and inheritance of national leadership, spiritual heritage, purity, and gatekeeping authority — just as Reuben and Ephraim could forfeit their birthright through unfaithfulness (Genesis 49; Psalm 78:9–10), so today we declare: Virginia, your time has come to reclaim and exercise your birthright!

Current spiritual atmosphere: Christianity remains the majority at around 70%, but faces growing pressure from secular humanism, progressive policies on abortion and marriage, and anti-biblical laws. The "Nones" (religiously unaffiliated) comprise 20%+ of Virginians, in line with the national rise to 28–31%.
