There is an anointing of the tribe of Issachar upon Ohio (1 Chronicles 12:32). From Thomas Edison (born in Milan, Ohio) who gave the world the practical light bulb, phonograph, and motion pictures, to the Wright Brothers in Dayton who birthed powered flight, Ohio has incubated pioneering breakthroughs that shaped the modern world. The pioneering spirit of invention flows from the same source as the Buckeye's clear-eyed vision. Ohio's destiny is to conceive, nurture, and release innovations — both natural and spiritual — that bless the nation and the world.

Why the Rusting of Industries?

The Rust Belt decline — with its shuttered factories, economic decay, and visible rusting of steel and manufacturing infrastructure — is not merely economic. There was a shift in the spiritual realm in Ohio that manifested physically in the rusting of industries. Everything physical starts in the spiritual realm (2 Corinthians 4:18 — "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal"). A loss of first love, compromise with secular humanism, and a dulling of the Issachar anointing opened the door to deindustrialization and decline.
